The Discovery Channel Rebrand was aimed at bringing the Discovery Channel back to its scientific roots. I felt as if they had been straying from where they started and were now focusing more on reality television.
The use of the scientific elements moves the show more towards science and nature, which was the objective of this project. The periodic table makes up everything we are as humans, and I wanted them to represent all that makes up the Discovery Channel, with each show having its own element.
